Our Patent Monetize Marketplace is committed to maintaining a secure and lawful platform for patent buyers, sellers, and licensees. If you believe your intellectual property rights have been infringed upon or misused within our marketplace, please use the following process to report the infringement. This form is specifically for patent owners and their authorized agents.
Who Can Submit an Infringement Report?
- Patent owners who hold the exclusive rights to a patent
- Authorized agents acting on behalf of patent owners
What Can Be Reported? You may use this form to report the following types of infringements:
- Patent Ownership Violations: If someone has listed or claimed ownership of your patent without authorization.
- Unauthorized Licensing: If your patent is being offered for license without your consent.
- Misrepresentation of Patent Rights: If any seller or buyer is misrepresenting their rights over a patent.
We Do Not Enforce:
- Disputes over patent pricing or valuation: Disagreements about the price or value of a patent listed on the marketplace are not grounds for an infringement report. Such matters should be resolved directly between the parties.
- Patent misuse outside the marketplace: We can only address infringement cases related to activities within our marketplace. Any external patent misuse must be addressed through appropriate legal channels.
How to Report Infringement:
- Submit a Report: Fill out the infringement form by providing all necessary details, including proof of patent ownership and a description of the infringement.
- Documentation: Ensure that you attach any relevant documents to support your claim, such as patent registration details, evidence of ownership, or legal documentation of your rights.
- Review Process: Once submitted, our legal team will review your claim. If necessary, we may contact you for further information to process the report.
- Resolution: If the infringement is verified, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing the infringing patent listing or pursuing further investigation.
Important Notes:
- The report should only be submitted by patent owners or their authorized representatives.
- We encourage resolving disputes amicably whenever possible; however, we are here to assist in cases where legal rights have been violated.
